Rodrigo Mello has almost 20 years working in the Corporate and M&A area, with more than 200 transactions in his track record and is one of Melcheds Advogados founding partners. Before the start up of Melcheds, he has worked as an attorney and a partner at a boutique law firm in São Paulo focused in Dispute Resolution, where he started the Corporate and M&A area until launching his own firm. Rodrigo also worked as a foreign associate at NYC based International Law Firm Fox, Horan & Camerini LLP. Rodrigo has a large experience in Corporate Law matters and M&A and Corporate Finance operations, having worked in deals involving a broad range of industries and sectors, from telecom and technology to construction and banking, and international and national clients, such as multinational corporations and its directors, and also private investors. Rodrigo holds a L.L.M. in Corporate Law from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa (Insper) and he was a visitor scholar at the Fordham Law School (New York) in its Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law LL.M. Program. He also has a Specialist degree in M&A from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-SP). Rodrigo has recognized as a Highly-Regarded Lawyer by IFLR 1000 for M&A and Project Development practices, as well by The Legal 500 for M&A and Energy practices.
