Methodology
The International Legal Awards Ceremony aims to recognize the best performers in the legal profession.
This year two award categories have been established: International Legal Awards and French Financial Law Awards.
After an accurate selection based on quantitative and qualitative criteria, more than 200 international independent law firms were nominated to submit their forms and to compete for the grand prize – A Golden Law Award.
International Legal Awards are destined to be presented to the Best Independent Law Firms of the Year. It will recognize distinguished law firms in the domestic markets for their excellent results of the year and lasting performance in management and leadership.
French Legal Awards will recognize the leading law firms that operate in the French market and specialize in M&A and Corporate finance.
Juries
15 jury panels of more than 100 senior legal executives across all major industry sectors: In-House Counsels along with Senior Financial executives will determine the winners.

An extremely rigorous and confidential judging process will be based on their experience and market knowledge as well as on the information provided by nominees.
To assure legitimate decisions and enable all jury members to express their opinion, deliberation sessions will be scheduled for juries of all award categories.
