Jury & methodology

The International Legal Awards Ceremony recognizes the best performers in the legal profession.  

After an accurate selection based on quantitative and qualitative criteria, more than 200 international independent law firms are nominated to submit their forms and to compete for the grand prize – the Gold Award.

The International Legal Alliance Awards are destined to reward the best independent law firms of the year. They recognize distinguished law firms in their domestic market for their excellent results of the year and lasting performance in management and leadership.

Juries

25 specialist jury panels with more than 120 General Counsels in total determine the winners of each category. The panels are renewed every year and made of in-house Counsels from companies such as:

The extremely rigorous and confidential judging process is based on their experience and market knowledge as well as on the information provided by nominees.

To ensure legitimate decisions and enable all jury members to express their opinion, deliberation sessions and oral presentations are scheduled depending on availability. 

Awards Ceremony 

During the celebration dinner the names of laureates are revealed and they are rewarded for their excellence with Gold Awards, while all the other nominees are called on stage to receive Silver Awards recognizing their performances.
