Today’s Fortune 500 companies need advice from business lawyers who have global understanding and networks to intervene in every country market. Cross border deals require coordination among leading law firms to solve the many problems of International transactions.


Choosing the best is not an easy task. This is why the Jury of the International Legal Awards could only include knowledgeable legal buyers such as General Counsels who work with these law firms and are able to decide the best amongst the leaders in the field, not just on the basis of their size and growth but also on the depth of their everyday practice, experience, management and strategy.

 

More than 200 leading law firms are submitting their applications to the jury to compete for the Gold Award of their country.

 

Panels of 10 jury members, General Counsels of Fortune 500 Companies (Microsoft, L’Oréal, IBM, Disney, Cap Gemini, GDF-Suez…) are formed each year, for each category on the basis of their geographical areas of business, their M&A experience and their market knowledge.

The names of the laureates are revealed during the official celebration dinner, recognizing all participants and rewarding the winners.
